Work Experience and Internship

Year 10 Work Experience

Year 10 students are given the opportunity to arrange their own work experience, as well as taking part in a careers event, which will develop their employability skills. A two week work experience provides the opportunity to gain knowledge of what employers expect, it allows for students to gain skills in independence, initiative, timekeeping, team work, self awareness and reliability.

Year 12 Internship

All students within their time in Sixth Form will have the opportunity to take part in a work experience placement linked to their intended career pathway should they wish. Work Placements provide students with valuable life skills, gaining knowledge and experience on real life projects in preparation for University or their future career. Each year the last week of the Summer Term is offered for those students wishing to take a work placement.
