Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

(French and Spanish – Maternity Cover)
Required from February (half term) to September 2024

Main Scale / Upper Pay Spine – Full Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to work in our successful MFL department. The ideal candidate will be able to teach Spanish to KS5, with the ability to teach an additional language (French or German only).

Spanish, French and German are all taught from KS3 to KS5. We are looking for someone with passion for Spanish culture and excellent subject knowledge. We are a supportive team, meaning we plan collaboratively in order to ensure high quality lessons whilst minimising workload and allowing best practice to be shared in a natural way with our colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a significant contribution to a rapidly improving department, to contribute to the development of a rich and varied Spanish curriculum and, the right candidate, to deliver A Level Modern Foreign Languages.

Archbishop Holgate’s School are looking to appoint a Finance and Operations Director to be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the school, alongside the Deputy Headteachers and Headteacher. This is an exciting role and pivotal in helping to ensure the school’s continued success in the future.

Cleaning Assistant

£11.50 per hour – Part time: 20 hours per week, Term Time Only
Hours of work: Mon-Fri, 3.30-7.30pm
